Continually crashes

Every time I open it, it crashes within a few seconds. Literally cannot get through a single story without it crashing. Must be the dumb animated ads that are crashing the app. Usually have to Google the story I want to read and view there, to avoid crashing.

Update: Two updates later and the app still crashes every single time I open it. Sad because I prefer KTLA, but cant read through one story on this app.
